Contract Conditions for Translation, Proofreading and / or Transcription Services
Application
The following terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract between the Client and WeTranslate S.C., for the services that the latter provides for translation, revision and transcription.
The acceptance by the Client of the quote issued by WeTranslate S.C., or the request made in firm by any means of communication will be considered as a contract.
The budget or offer issued will be valid for 30 days from the date of its issuance.
Provision of Service
The Client must clearly indicate their requirements for the requested service.
If the documentation delivered to translate or revise is in an editable format (Word, Excel or PowerPoint), it will be returned in the same format, retaining a copy in our possession for any clarification, otherwise it will be returned in PDF.
Deadline and Delivery
The deadline for delivery or provision of service will be set by both parties. Working days will be considered as a reference and when the acceptance or request of service is made after 5:00 p.m., the working days will be computed until the following business day.
WeTranslate S.C., will not assume any responsibility if the delay in delivery is caused by force majeure or beyond its control, such as computer failures in its network or connection failures of its server that affect both the company and its collaborators. In these cases, WeTranslate S.C. reserves the right to modify the delivery date and will notify the Client as soon as possible.
Delivery will be made by email. In the case of certified translations, they will be delivered to our offices or by courier, the cost of these being on behalf of the Client. WeTranslate S.C. is not responsible for the delay that may exist due to a deficiency of the courier or mail service.
Rates and payment method
The rates and payment method will be established by the parties. Invoices will be issued in Mexican pesos and payment will be made in the same currency.
In any case, the Client who requests the order will be the first and only party responsible for the payment of the requested service, even in the assumption that they are not the final recipient of the order or has been made on behalf of third parties.
Correction of errors
WeTranslate S.C. guarantees that all its services are performed by highly qualified professionals, however in case of possible errors, the Client will have the right to request the amendment thereof, specifying precisely the errors or deficiencies detected. If the claim is founded, WeTranslate S.C. will proceed to amend any errors.
Translators will use the terminology they deem most convenient.
Liability
The Client declares possession or ownership of the source material and all its components and that the translation thereof and the publication, distribution, sale or other use of the result will not violate any copyright, trademark, patent or any other right of any third party.
The Client must provide, without prior request, all the information and documentation in his possession to facilitate the translation (photos, abbreviations, etc.).
WeTranslate SC will not assume any responsibility for the breach of these obligations.
Modification / Cancellation of the service
In case of modifying the text of the translation after it is delivered, a new term and new economic conditions will be negotiated. Modifications will be indicated in writing.
In case of canceling a translation or revision project in progress, the work carried out up to that moment will be charged.
The Client may only cancel the order when the delivery date and its extension have been unreasonably exceeded by WeTranslate S.C.
Confidentiality
WeTranslate SC, considers all documents and information that the Client provides in relation to the request for a service to be strictly confidential, and undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality, discretion and custody of these, either personally or by third parties at your expense or on your behalf. If the Client so wishes, they must send their Confidentiality Notice for our signature.
